Rare 1934-C $5 Silver Cert with bp 2505

Only on ebay where the front looks like a Fine grade and the back is UNC
with the advert text stating "...Item pictured is the exact item you will receive unless specified otherwise"

    That back plate belongs on a 1953A

    I sent the seller this question;

    The photo of the front looks fairly worn and the photo of back looks almost uncirculated. Do the two photos represent the same note ?

    This was the seller’s reply;

    Yes, I agree. Something doesn’t match with the photos. I ended the listing as I am unable to locate the note at the moment.

    He now knows he has a rare Wide 3 variety and is holding out on the rest of us sniping bidders.
    I suspect we will see it relisted in a month in a CGA 20/55 STAR holder

    Either a wide III, or possibly a WIDER II.

    It will be a matter of time at this point before a WIDEST II turns up.
