Same auction terms as the last auction I just had up. Please feel free to bid here, on the BST board or via PM to me.
I have (20) of the very first generation (tiny) PCGS slabbed Mint State Mercury Dimes. The dates and grades are as follows:
1. 1937(s): MS65
2. 1940(p): MS65
3. 1941(p): MS65 (2 pieces)
4. 1941(s): MS64 & 1941(s) MS65 (3 pieces)
5. 1943(p): MS65 (3 pieces)
6. 1944(s): MS64 (2 pieces) & 1944(s) MS65 (2 pieces)
7. 1945(d): MS65 (5 pieces)
The winning bid here wins all (20) PCGS very first generation (tiny) slabs. The quality of these coins is, overall, superb, but since these coins were likely "slabbed" around the late 1980's, many of the coins have developed varying amounts of haze, or slight haze. If the coins were properly "conserved", no doubt some might grade higher imho, but at $12.50/coin opening bid, "conserving" these coins is just not in the cards.
These are very neat collectible slabs though (being PCGS' very first generation type slab) and would make great gifts to friends and family (know anyone born between 1937-1945)?
I am opening the bidding at $12.50/coin with no reserve. Who bids $250 for the (20) piece PCGS MS Mercury Dime lot? I'll also throw in free insured shipping anywhere in the US. Auction ends at 11:00 p.m. Thursday night EDT. Wondercoin.

You picked a great series of coins to auction on our country's birthday, Freedom of thought being one of our most important.
I just don't see any "registry" participants needin' these date/grades.
Bring out the 67FBs!!!
Have a Great 4th,
Don
MS67FB Winged Liberty, and
I love that 1917 SLQ you have linked. What is the grade if you don’t mind me asking? I have a 1917 MS66FH that looks a lot like that one. Light beautiful gold champagne toning. I just love those SLQ.
The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
They would make perfect gifts as well.
As you may know, these coins cost $25/coin to even grade back then (not to mention the gem dimes). No one is getting "rich" on this offering, as you know
Wondercoin.
You are absolutly right. Anyone wanting to get started w/Mercs should jump on your offer. I don't know how you can do it, but you are passin' on some great savings to the folks here. Just soliciting for some high-end stuff for us "'tweener" collectors.
Bill,
The SLQ is the '17-S MS66FH that is in my registry set. It has light blue and lavender hues, and is one of my "prize" coins. Just gettin' started w/pics. I'll give the '17 and '17-D a try below. The '17 was my 1st coin purchase. Bought it raw over 20 yrs ago, and it since graded out @ MS63FH(see the hit in a very bad spot!). I'm buried in that one now, but it will probably get buried w/me! LOL
The '17-D is a MS66FH. The pic doesn't show the colors or luster well. Still have some learnin' to do with that!
Regards,
Don
You are right that is a bad spot to take a hit. It looks as if someone was trying to enhance the features a little. LOL
They are all beautiful coins. Someday I hope to start a set in that series.
I looked at your set and my hat is off to you. You are putting together a great set.

I don't know what happened to my 1st attachment, but it seems to have disappeared. (I did not edit/delete it!)
I'll try it again.
ttt for you, Mitch.
Great deal here people!
