Hi, hi I recently open a federal reserve a roll of 1980 pennies. Which I put away over 40 years ago and forgot about them. I sent 3 to PCGS to get graded. I’m still waiting. I saw on their price guide , 1980 MS68 listed for 8000. MS67 for 2800. The way the coins looked they can be MS68 or better. How much will they be worth , if they graded MS69?

Pictures?
MS69s would need to go to auction to find a market price
How do you post a photo?

My guess is that you will be learning a very expensive lesson.
Unless you are very experienced at grading you most likely won't be able to recognize the differences that make those upper grades.
Just because a coin is from a new roll does not mean it will get a top grade.
Expensive not really I am only sent 3. I know what you are saying. These coins were never touch, so I’m willing to take a shot. And praying they are at least MS68.
Well, good luck, but if that one is representative of the ones you sent I'm afraid you'll be quite disappointed.
It's blurry
it's hard to tell what is and is not a contact mark or some lighting effect. there could be lots of little marks hidden by the blur.
Here is a MS64 from photograde https://www.pcgs.com/photograde#/Lincoln/Grades :
When they arrive I will post the results.
I'm willing to bet it is an MS63 or less.if yu have the submission numbers you can feverishly refresh the results like all of us do.
although the fever has broke due to covid. figure that.
I don't believe it's 67 or 68.
Stained and spotted; would grade no higher than 64.
Save your money, or, if you insist on throwing it away, submit them.
I know the photo I took with my iPhone doesn’t do justice for the appearance of the penny. The coins a bright red tone . Hopefully PCGS doctors will clean the spots. What ever MS number is, I bet it will be graded with a +RD.
I don't think that black stuff is cleanable, at least not without leaving damage.
Also, @MsMorrisine pointed out many spots of damage that will keep the coin far below MS68.
