    Saw him play in Buffalo. At one time he was the answer to a trivia question. Longest name in football. You should have seen some of his Jerseys with his name on it from elbow to elbow.

    one of the most underated coaches ever to coach in the nfl. he had some really bad luck in having great teams play choke in the playoffs. his 93 chiefs team and the chargers team that let the patriots beat them in the first round when they were the best team on the field that game.

    All 4 playoff losses with the Browns were against HOF quarterbacks.

    The Drive in 86 was bad enough but The Fumble the next year was even more heartbreaking. You couldn't help but feel for the guy.

    Always had really good defensive teams when he coached in KC but the offense was never very good.
    RIP coach Schottenheimer.
