Seller on eBay selling reprints as authentic vintage.
Please note I have been collecting since the 1980s and have handled thousands of vintage Topps cards. The below seller is selling reprint cards as authentic. I received one and could tell immediately. I looked at the other listings, and I see they all have the same telltale signs. eBay has not removed these listings. You can see that the images on the subgrade cardboard are all washed out and look photocopied and the corners are all rounded and falsely aged. I wanted to get some other opinions as well and help to stamp out any fraudulent behavior. This seller just sold a Nolan Ryan rookie for $450. In other words, a $1 reprint for $450. I love this hobby and I'd like to do my part to thwart any unscrupulous sellers. Please see below for the seller name and 6 example eBay listings links. The first link is of the sold Ryan rookie. The seller does have legitimate junk era wax listed as well. Thank you.

Report them, report them until you're sick of doing it, report them some more ...
Finally see them get booted.
Next day, new account.
Repeat.
You'll always get bored before they do, they're getting paid and no one at eBay cares since they get a cut.
The bottom corners on the Ryan, Bench, and Mantle look the same. Photo on the Bench looks very blurry. Good detective work @FenwayEbbetsShibe .

From what I see, they are classified as “reprint” in the original/reprint field. But the listing and description do not allude to that at all. Obviously trying to deceive but at the same time could somewhat truthfully say it was listed as reprint. Super shady though.
I pointed out a guy selling reprints of the Brady SP Authentic card a few weeks ago. They are selling for $4k a pop...ungraded of course. He has been successfully doing it for months. Makes me sick.
Same for all these idiots on facebook selling cards as "facsimiles" or "reprints", when they are actualy counterfeit reproductions of copyrighted cards. Not going to stop until law enforcement shows up at their door with a warrant or some scammed customer shows up and treats them like Iron Balls McGinty
His feedback for older sales shows that he used to put RP in the title, but not any more.
Yes, you can see that he has had practice with his scissors, although he really needs to improve on his corner trimming skills.
Thank you for all your input. Yes, @surfyfun , thanks for pointing that out. All of these are listed as reprint in that field but nowhere else which is indeed very misleading.
The 2000 Skybox Tom Brady "reprint" (he just happened to have lying around and listed just as Brady won the Super Bowl) just sold for $350.

Makes me sick as well. And yes, this is definitely amateur hour with the scissors and the quality of the reprints but still enough to fool those just getting started collecting. It appears eBay will not do anything until there are numerous complaints levied against a seller. On another note, I hear there are Amazon takeover rumors and I hope that never happens because then eBay will be even worse lol.
Who sucks more, this guy, or ebay?
