I just upgraded my San Diego Commem to a PCGS MS66+ w/CAC. As such, I'm selling my MS65 in an OGH w/CAC, graded by PCGS.

Below are three photos of my MS65 PCGS coin in OGH w/CAC.

1936-D San Diego MS65 in OGH – PCGS w/CAC

1. There’s not a big difference, but the 1936-D is slightly tougher than the more common 1935-S.
2. There have been 5,718 1936-D San Diego Commems graded as MS65 (4,187 by PCGS and 1,531 by NGC). Out of those 5,718, only 401 have a CAC. Admittedly, due to the “low” value, many have not been submitted to CAC. Regardless though, this one has a CAC!
3. My price is NOT cheap, due to the high eye appeal combined with it being in an OGH. Taking those two important points into account, I believe my price shown below is very fair.
4. Most knowledgeable collectors prefer coins with toning and “skin”, which often covers some of a coin’s natural luster. This is referred to as proving “Originality”. However, there’s a large but silent group that prefers their 20th Century silver coins to be blast white (I’m in this group). With this coin, yes, I’m sure it's been dipped decades ago, but apparently gently enough that it still merits a CAC.
5. My price is $193 plus shipping, with payment via PayPal (NOT Friends & Family, but Regular PayPal). Shipping is $6 via USPS First Class Mail, or $15 via FedEx Priority Overnight. Either method will require a signature upon delivery.
6. The most recent sale of a 1936-D San Diego Commem graded MS65 by PCGS in an OGH with a CAC with eye appeal like mine was just this past September 16, 2020 in a Heritage Auction. The price with the buyer’s premium was $306. If you'd like the cert number of THAT coin, or a hotlink, message me.
