Took a quick gander but could not identify.

Possibly 37A2...O is to the left. Date looks far. There seems to be a die crack on the obverse of U headed to the bonnet.

This is not my niche year.

    Vamworld is your friend. :)

your coin has a far date that has the 1 over a gap which eliminates a bunch of them right off the bat from what i've seen.

are there any noticeable diagnostics not mentioned? overlapped reeding, obv clashing, gouges other than mm, doubled eyelid, doubled top cap, dashed 8, dbl arrowheads, any dbling top of 1 in date, die cracks in wreath,

i think i see the cap-vee clash and a doubled ear but there are a lot of dbled ears.

looks like yours may have gouge like 16a/19a.

I'm inclined to suggest VAM 33. Date looks to be very far, O tilted a little to the left. Pictures of the date on VW aren't good, but they might help show you where to look for repunching on the 1.

The die markers inside the O would be useful had someone actually studied this date enough to document them all, but 84-O hasn't been on anyone's project list.

Here is a hint: If it's not one of the rare vams listed on Vamworld then just don't worry. Vammers don't collect the mundane stuff, common stuff or such. That date/mm has but one top 100 and 3 top 50's. If it's not one of them don't go any further.

    bob :)
