Steph Curry NT RC /99 BGS 9 sold for $345,630 on Goldins a few days ago ... explain this to me?

Sure it's a nice card and sure Steph will go down as the greatest shooter of all-time ...but $345K for a card made in 2009 and not even BGS 9.5!

Yes I guess I underestimated basketball. I get MJ, who is so iconic, with so many global collectors. But for modern player who is still playing like Curry, just hard to fathom prices like this, can't imagine if Curry retires, does that make this card go to 500K?! who has that kind of money ... i don't haha
there's a reason psa opened up an office in asia. plenty of whales on that continent alone.
