  • Ouch! Is that what the low population 8's normally sell for?

No. Generally the 1957 low pops have been going for $300-$400, which is still a lot. Now we have the dreaded "lowest population" label which signals an unreal final bid by some millionaire collector. Note that 3 bidders rang in with $1000 bids on this card!

  • Wow! That is too crazy !! Double Book++++ ,Some very determined people with Deep Pockets... My advice is to wait and watch and hold to your budget... and do not get caught up in the madness!

#300 Garcia is even rarer than #347 Naragon. I always keep my eyes peeled for some of these low population cards when I look through raw cards. I'm a fan of the '57 set as is, but what a thrill it would be, to turn a $30-45 common into a $1,000-1,500 PSA 8 rarity. I know the odds are incredibly remote, but hey, you never know. Stranger things have happened.

A $1,500 Buy it now for Garcia? $2,000?

Yes, I'm sure a 57 Garcia PSA 8 would bring 2K at auction. There are only 6 "8"'s out there. What's more, I checked an August 2000 Pop Report and there were only 5 available at that time. That means only 1 has turned up in 2 years!! There have to be more hi-grade Garcias out there, but where are they??
