Working on an Olympic US Hall of Fame set and I am curious if these are the TRUE rookies for these boxers?
Are there cards that are viewed as more important?

1960 HEMMETS JOURNAL CASSIUS CLAY. #23
1964 NESTLE LOS JUEGOS OLIMPICOS JOE FRAZIER #273
1973 PANINI CAMPIONI DELLO SPORT GEORGE FOREMAN #289
1992 IMPEL OLYMPICARDS OSCAR DE LA HOYA #23

For Joe Frazier, you might want to also look at his 1964 Bobbie Bubble Gum. This is not my card, it's just a reference for you to see. The highest ever graded is PSA 6 which is a pop 2. It can be a pricey card depending on the grade.

Yes and there are three PSA graded copies of the 1964 Bobbie Bubble Gum Joe Frazier card on ebay right now, a PSA 1.5, a PSA 5, and a PSA 6.

There's a mint 9 HEMMETS CASSIUS CLAY for a cool $150,000 (OBO) on Ebay right now, too. For a mere $20k you can get a BVG 8.

For George Foreman, here are scans of his first appearance on a card of any issue, from 1968. Most collectors don't consider this one a Rookie even though it was 5 years earlier than the 1973 Panini, because he is not the only one featured on it:

There are actually two versions of this card that look the same on front but different on back. The Dutch one has French and Dutch on the Back, and the French one has only French, but larger text.

The correct names and spellings of the two set variations are as follows:

Dutch: 1964 Uitgave Rizla / Bubble Gum Bobbie - Tokio 1964 Gouden Medailles

French: 1964 Edition Rizla / Bubble Gum Milou - Tokyo 1964 Medailles D'Or

    Here are the two backs:

Unfortunately, so far PSA has inaccurately labeled all of the graded ones as Bobbie Bubble Gum rather than differentiating between the Dutch Uitgave Rizla / Bubble Gum Bobbie vs. the French Edition Rizla / Bubble Gum Milou versions, so the population report can only suggest a combined total rather than state how many of each of these two different sets have been graded.

Interestingly enough, the Dutch version has the word spelled "Tokio" on the front of the set's album, but "Tokyo" on the backs of the cards, even in the Dutch language portion.

@miwlvrn , I had no idea about the different versions of that Joe Frazier. You're knowledge of this stuff is unbelievable. 🖒

Another card you might want to check out for the De La Hoya rookie is his 1992 Classic.
