1988 Fleer basketball

I was looking on eBay. Some of those cards have went up a lot in price. Miller and Stockton rookies nd Pippen. I don't doubt the Pippen PSA 9 goes 1K soon. I have the Jordan, Pippen, Miller and Stockton. I don't have the Rodman.

The 1988 set is my personal favorite, as that was the set that was out when I first started collecting basketball cards (I had previously only collected Garbage Pail Kids).

I pulled all of the "big" cards out of packs as an 11 year old - both Jordans, Pippen, Rodman, Stockton, Miller. Also got the Magic, but surprisingly didn't get any of the good stickers. I feel like I got nothing but Malones and Alex Englishes.

There are a few good rookies. Mark Jackson and Mark Price rookie cards are still affordable.

I have the following in PSA 9:

Jordan, Jordan All-Star, Rodman, Miller, Magic, Worthy, Kareem, Price (all of these were bought graded)

The Pippen I pulled when I was 11 years old has been at PSA since July. It's perfectly centered so I'm hoping for a 9.

I was buying 88 Fleer packs at the convenience store down the street. Taped three Jordans to my bedroom door.

Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.

I was typing about an hour ago that Magic 9’s would be 1K in 30 days. Not Nostradamus or anything but one just closed at $940.

I’ve had a Magic Johnson base card at PSA since July...it’s damn near perfect as far as I could tell...self pulled from a wax pack years ago that I paid $40 tops for...it has risen in value so much since it was received by PSA...I believe my declared value was $30 on the sub lol...no way it’s not a 9 maybe a even a 10...I wonder if PSA will upcharge?

I bought a complete set of these over the summer for $100. I also bought about 600 more loose cards for an additional $20 at the same sale. The 600 loose cards were all the extras other than the Jordan’s, Pippen, Miller and Rodman. Thing is cards are in phenomenal condition other than the centering. Sent in the Jordan’s and all the rookies to be graded. Hoping for mostly 9’s but I could see a couple 10’s and a few 8’s. Starting to wonder if I should get the set graded for my PC and unload the rest.

Best looking basketball set ever, IMO. I put together several sets about 12 years ago. I have all of the big ones sitting in Newport Beach........I never even considered looking at the Magics, Birds, Barkley, etc.......
