Preventing Autograph Fading

I'm curious if anyone has used a product that has reduced/prevented fading on framed pieces. Without having to re-frame signed pieces in museum glass. I'm thinking of some kind of peel and stick film I can put on the glass to prevent fading underneath so I can keep items displayed in good faith, without spending $$$ for re-framing.
any insight it appreciated.

To my understanding, museum glass is required.
You can find stick-on UV window coatings at places like Home Depot - but they require wetting the glass a lot with soapy water, so not what you want for framed art.
I'd just hang it on a wall that doesn't get direct sunlight.
Not only should you go with the correct glass, you should use acid free for the matte and backboard if you truly want to stop fading.
Keep it out of the light.
the only way to completely stop fading is to put it in a box.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
UV glass a must..
Thanks for the input everyone.
