Help. Will this grade ? Or is it trimmed or miscut ?

Considering buying an otherwise beautiful 67 Mays. But the back left side has me worried. The seller claims the card is not altered and original. Do you think this card will grade without an OC or MC notation ? Thanks for your help.
I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

My money is on it being trimmed

The top left and right edges are not dead centered, but the bottom borders look centered. Yet the entire right border is centered, thus trimmed on right side. I agree with Maddux69.
Thanks guys. I was leaning that way myself. He’s got it listed at a reasonable price and sent me a. Offer even lower. That was a red flag. If it wasn’t altered I wouldn’t think he would have any trouble getting a very good price on it. Mays along with many others is really hot right now.

Ask him to take pics next to a ruler!
run.
Front doesn't look trimmed to me.
Back will certainly get a qualifier IF it grades.
If it wasn't trimmed, it would already be in a slab.
That's certainly a possibility. The OP was asking if it would get a qualifier if it graded.
There are LOTS of cards out there worth a lot of money that aren't graded. I just ran across a guy with a 1981 football set with a decent Montana rookie (good corners, a little too O/C for a 9) not graded.
Front on the Mays card looks to have a slight "tilt", but otherwise doesn't look trimmed to me. I compared it to a 1967 card in my PC and the side borders might be OK.

Looks to me like this card has back centering issues.
Might be just fine!
Im a follower of this card...
EVERY 67 mays has a narrow left reverse border. Some worse than others...
I would argue against trimmed - Cant argue against oc due to the reverse.
You might be looking at the best non-qualifed "7" out there....
I would be all over that card!!
Let me know if you pass....

I say not trimmed but may get the not graded miscut.
Thanks guys. Appreciate your input.

I too will say not trimmed - just another bad '67 factory cut. I have a few slabbed that are less rectangular than that. Pay for it like it's a raw 4 or 5, and hope for a 6/7...

I don't think it is trimmed side to side but the bottom border may be trimmed as it looks like it has a bow from left to right.
as for miscut backs, I am not so sure. psa used to have back standards. sgc didn't really. I have seen way more cards with miscut backs not get qualifiers in more recent years. I sent in a 76 brett with a miscut back that is a gorgeous card after someone pointed out many 76's in psa slabs with miscut backs( 76' are notorious for these). I have had the card for a long time and never considered subbing it assuming it would get a qualifier
It's such a shame as it is almost certainly trimmed and re-colored. If not, that card would look amazing in a PSA holder.
