What's the whole premise behind these coins if you don't mind me asking?

For me they are Fantasy coins, actually Tokens, since there were no minted 1937-S or 1942-D nickels. I'm actually messing with my sons head having them in the box with the other nickels and watching him try to find them in the books. BTW, he's 52 so is fair game! Just having fun and they are unique with a limited mintage.
