Help Please ... Unopened Questions

I am thinking of using my 1971 Topps BB Unopened Wax Pack (Unknown Series) - PSA 8 as collateral with PWCC on a larger purchase. I've been checking and can't find a recent sale.

Can anybody knowledgeable with the unopened marketplace lend a hand and provide an estimate as to how much the piece is worth? I think I can use 50% of the estimated value for the sale and receive the balance when it sells during the next auction.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

    Defer to Tim / Grote 15, but my guess for an 8 would be 5k+

    According to VCP that last PSA 7 pack that sold brought over $2700. I think $5000 would be a reasonable estimate for an 8.

    A nice PSA 7 would retail for about $3250-$3500 right now. 5K would be a bit steep for a PSA 8. I'd put value at about $4250-$4500 for an 8, depending, too, on series. A PSA 7 1971 cello, which is even tougher to find vs wax and contains more than 3x as many cards, sold for a bit more than 5K last spring.

    I haven't decided yet what to do..I am leaning towards selling 1 and keeping the other, though. PM me and I will reach out to you once I do.
