Submission question

When submitting mint sets do I need to cut the coins out of the Mint plastic or can I keep the plastic an put the coin inside 2x2 flip?

    You can keep the plastic.

Our hosts actually do discourage 2 X 2's with staples.

Both PCGS and NGC specify 2.5 x 2.5 mylar flips. No 2 X 2 flips.

Both allow mint original protection such as mint capsules or mint cellophane, but in a labeled 2.5 X 2.5 flip.

You have just confused the heck out of me. So in mint cellophane but also in a Mylar flip?

Doesn't matter. PCGS will not return your submission or scold you for not doing it the way they prefer.

yes, they will remove the coin from the cellophane (or mint capsule) and put it in the labeled mylar flip for the rest of its trip through the grading process
