James Wiseman RCs

As my attempts to enter the modern player market continue, I am looking to expand into basketball and there seems to be no other rookie (other than perhaps Anthony Edwards) who has the potential to be a top-tier talent. With no player set in the registry (yet), and a cursory look at eBay, it appears only Panini has issued cards so far.
When I asked about Julio Rodriguez in the other thread, I was told Bowman Chrome was the best bet. Does that line of thinking apply to basketball cards as well?
Thanks.

No, Panini has the NBA license. Prizm is tops for BkB.
Thanks.
I know I am new to the modern hobby but it never stops amazing me and absolutely floors me how many variations of every card there is.
As much as I want to dislike Ball I think he is going to end up being the top rookie from the class. The league has just moved away from players like Wiseman
Prizm is correct. And I agree with @GOBUCKS that Lamelo will likely be the top rookie from this class.

I couldn't disagree more. Yes, the days of lumbering big men are over, but if you look at Wiseman and just see his height? You aren't watching the game. Giannis has proven athletic big men who can run and space the floor are a valuable commodity.
