NBA is moving team security into the midcourt area to dissuade violations that include hugging and handshakes, according to a league memo obtained by ESPN on Wednesday.

I do so worry about NBA players not following social distancing protocols during games.
They guard each other so closely, are breathing hard from all the running they do and they sweat buckets. Then they hug, high five and tap each other on the behind before shooting free throws, all without wearing a mask.
Before the season ends half the players will be sick with Covid, hooked up to ventilators or dead.
Thank the league for taking a bold stand to save the players from themselves.
Hindsight is 20/20, but they might end up regretting not just getting robots like Tom Cruise .

More pointless virtue signalling...............NEXT!!!!!
Good. It's about time. I stopped following the NBA way back when Magic and Isiaih Thomas were doing their kissy huggie routine before the tipoff during the Lakers vs. Pistons championship series. I haven't watched one game since unless it was on at a bar or restaurant. Yuk!
