Paypal 1099 ?

Has anyone received a 1099 from Paypal yet? Any ideas on when they come out?

Collecting PSU and Joe Paterno items!

    Jan 29th. I believe if you sold over 20K worth AND sold over 100 items, you will automatically receive one.

    I thought it was over 200 items?

    Depends on where you live. In Mass, you get a 1099 once you hit $600 in paypal payments.

    I think we actually do not know how the 1099 is issued. If you read the tax law/code on the issuance of this form you will get confused. It states every dollar processed...gifts payments,,,money received for like a utility bill from your roommate.....etc. It says everything. But from what I've mostly known and seen happen it's 200 transactions and 20 grand in sales. It's not black and white whatsoever. Sorry to confuse everyone.

    Does eBay also send one for managed payments sales? I expect to get one from PayPal and one from eBay since I was switched mid year.
