I have a 1935 p buffalo nickel. I believe there's an error in the five cents.

    Sorry, but it's Post Mint Damage (PMD). There is nothing in the minting process that would cause that type of appearance. The FIVE CENTS are may have been rubbed against something hard/sharp or some other circulation wear and tear. Regardless of what caused the damage, this coin did not leave the mint like that
