Hi Everyone,
Does anyone recognize this series? This is all the information I have other than that it might be from 1975. It looks somewhat like '51 Bowman but it's not.
EDIT: I'll add that they seem too new and crisp to be from 1975 or earlier.

Looks like one of the TCMA sets, just not sure which one without seeing the backs.
ETA: Actually, it's 1975 SSPC: https://www.psacard.com/auctionprices/baseball-cards/1975-sspc/joseph-torre/values/264206
Thanks for the ID!
No problem.
There's no shortage of them. They may be the original "junk wax", though I don't think they were distributed in wax form. Someone must have been sitting on a very large hoard of them as you could buy lots of 10 of any star player you desired for a couple bucks in mint shape other than variable centering within the past decade. I doubt they're much different now, but haven't looked for any in several years.
1976 SSPC - decent value for top graded HOFers

Keith Olbermann wrote the bios on the back.

I find I can always buy rare cards for $4
I do it all the time, since rarity does not necessarily equal pricey, but calling these rare is pretty hilarious.
Interesting facts about the 1975 SSPC cards:
The text on the card backs was written by Keith Olbermann.
It was also the first non-Topps card set since 1955 Bowman to offer comprehensive coverage of all the players, along with managers and coaches, in the major leagues.
