2012-s and 2013-s Silver Proof Kennedy Halves

For 2012 and 2013, PCGS "Coin Facts" lists (as if a separate variety) a "Limited Edition Proof Set" version.

Are there any distinguishing factors between these coins and the coins that were included in the standard silver proof sets, or is this label simply documenting the original mint packaging that the coins came in?

    No. Same coin different packaging.

Thanks! Perhaps it is slightly weird that PCGS felt a need to document the packaging. Hard to believe there is any long term collector interest.

What is the situation for 2014? PCGS lists the 2014 50th anniversary silver as a "Type 5"; it can be distinguished by the mint mark, but is it really a different type?

Are the 1995-P and 1995-W Proof Silver Eagles really different? Same thing.

@djm - thanks, though in the case of the silver eagles, PCGS describes them both as “type one”. I’m wondering why PCGS has created a type 5 category for the 2014 Kennedy halves?
