Stupid Mistake: How to transfer cards from top loader to the correct card saver safely?

Hi All,

I'm super new to the hobby, and had previously loaded my cards into top loaders.

Does anyone have advice on the safest way to take a card out of a Toploader so that I can put them into the correct card saver?

Thanks in advance! :)

Hold the top loader in your right hand with the opening facing left. Tap the bottom of your right palm with the flat of your left hand. The sudden stopping of the motion will cause the card to slide out slightly. Do it gently so the card doesn’t fly completely out.

    Hard to explain but works.

see above.......and if that doesn't work, you give the side of the top loader a little tappy.....a little tapperroo......until the card begins to slide out

  • I've found that you can pinch the sides with your left hand and use your indeed finger to slightly spread the top.

Then, if you have them handy and your card is in a penny sleeve, use a little post it to sick to the penny sleeve:

Or, if your fingers are narrow, you can stretch the top loader:

Of course, if the "tappy" method works, you can do that too.
