If Eric Dickerson is to be believed, one might say the price for the Rans was a wee bit high.
According to Dickerson, the Houston Texans wanted a huge package for Watson. Dickerson said, “They wanted two number one’s, they wanted two number two’s, and your two best defensive players. So they wanted Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey.”

Here in H-Town, word on the street is there is zero chance he is going to play for the Texans again. During my commute I listen to sports radio and right now it is 100% on Watson. They have broken down the dysfunction issues of management, and all scenarios, including the one where Watson sits out. All advantages are to Watson. Texan admin would be foolish to delay any trade, this is their only chance to come out of this ok. From the analyses, it looks like Miami would be the best place for getting value back.
HST, Texans appear to be completely broken, all the Wormtongue Easterby influence on owner McNair. Read the SI article on this, does not look good going forward.
now all the QB's are turning stoopid . Watson now wilson are bungling around trying to exit teams while not free agents
Shut up and dribble you idiots
Although I don't blame watson for wanting to get away from the clown show in houston and obviously who wants to be in Texas to begin with. Skies are not supposed to be turd brown
remember what happened to that RB from Pittsburg who sat out a season instead of signing the tag. he lost out on that one year big paycheck and when he did return after a year off he has never been the same so he will never ever get that big contract.
better off playing the year under the tag and then test free agency. football careers are super short. it is a huge hit to take a year off for principle.

I hope they stick to their decision and keep him and Watson can either play or sit out.
Me too. I doubt it, but if it happens, I will be curios to see the media narratives.

Worst part was they wouldn't take Goff.

If true, wow...
In other words they don’t want to trade him without saying it

Grima Wormtongue Easterby
For me, looks like I will be changing my near-term allegiances to the Chargers. Big Herbert fan, always root for fellow Oregonians.....
Best, SH
Love the wormtongue reference . Never trust clergymen is the takeaway
