Hey merc Folks. Today on Ebay a Couple of Very Rare Mercury Dimes have shown Up. One is Mint State and the Other is a XF I believe. These 2 Coins will fit in Nicely in Next years Merc Variety Set that Must be Made after these are Slabbed. Could Not Get the Pictures to Come Up when Viewing the Auctions so I doubt if Bidding by Myself against You will Happen. Well Have some Fun Trying to Secure the 2 Rare Dimes.

OH !!! I forgot.......the Mint State one is a 1918O and the XF Coin is a 1930D.image Darn Rare.

That 18-O does not look uncirculated to me. Am I looking at it wrong?

First of all, that is a rare 1930-D roosevelt dime, so it will not go in the Merc set to begin with. You had better start collecting the later date 10 centers.

Looks like that 18-O is a problem coin...anyone else think from the scan that someone has attempted to alter the mintmark?
