Topic: 1972 Topps Checklist 4th Series #378

My question pertains to the Asterisk/Star on the back, left of the TCG(copyright). I have both variations, but I've never seen them encased as variations.
1. Is there any info on the web about these?
2. Are there any encased, and has anyone seen them?
3. Would PSA/SGC/BVG re-slab them as variations?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Sheet 4 - 131 unique - inclusive of Series 5 checklist, plus version 2 of Series 4;
Sheet 5 - 131 unique - inclusive of Series 6 checklist, plus version 2 of Series 5;

787 total cards. Checklists 2 - 6 are each printed on 2 sheets with different asterisk codes.
