Earlier in the year they said they would be shifting 2017 to the second tier in 2022. Maybe that's why.

Is this the $12 value option?

well that should slow things down and let them catch up, I'd suspect.

I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.
    Collecting:
post world war II HOF rookie
76 topps gem mint 10 commons 9 stars

  • I just checked and don't see it either and my membership is active until June.

also noticed the login time is now up to 15 weeks, remember when people were upset that it was 7 weeks :(

I am also not seeing it. Looks like $50.00 is the lowest rate. Frankly, I am fine with this at this point to slow submissions.

    absolutely thrilled w this move!

(but most likely a glitch or a test to see the backlash)

keep in mind website changes were due. old quarterly specials removed, new ones added, 2017 off of ultra modern, added to modern, etc. gut says just a glitch.

Seeing on Twitter Steve saying this is an error.

That’s too bad. I was already lobbying for this over the summer when entry times were less than 2 months. Now it’s 4 with no end in sight. All the upgrades and hirings haven’t made the process one ounce smoother

Yes, but it's hard on people who want stuff graded for collections like me but it's just not worth grading a $20 card for an additional $50. If they wanted to do that, they could have lowered the max value temporarily to $49 or something.

The Collectors Club vouchers--- if you still have them are also now thrown into economy level service instead of regular service increasing what used to be a bearable turnaround time into an infinity.

not saying to do this permanently but as long as they are 4 months behind entering and it is taking 8 months to get cards back, something should be done to smooth things out until they can create a better process/experience. I submit a ton of vintage value so this would hurt me in the interim that I can't submit but at this point this would be the wake up slap to finally hold off since I would have no choice. There isn't really a worse business practice than constantly changing the expectations as you go along which is what PSA has to do right now.

Many people who have built houses have dealt with this scenario. the contractor says on Dec 1 it is scheduled for completion on June 1 , then he says on Feb 1 it will be Aug 1 and on April 1 it will Oct 1 ........ The buyer gets pretty pi$$ed off. This is pretty much what is going on at PSA right now. They have taken on more houses than they can build.

  • I'm a little confused by this post, bulk services was replaced by Value Pricing sometime in 2020. Just logged in & found Value Pricing is still there:

    It was a temporary error.

  • Ok thanks.

After reading this thread, I was inspired by the comments that mentioned PSA turnaround times so I created a new discussion named just that. Check it out & add your two cents if you care to :)
