bought and/or traded a good number of cards here on this forum

  • One site I like is http://scottsdalecards.com/

I've ordered from them about 8-10 times. I have always found them to be fair with their pricing and grading. I just wish they had more PSAs and more hockey. Great selection of older ungraded baseball cards though.

Thought I would re-introduce this thread and look for changes since 2021. I have noticed that so many cards are listed for crazy high prices with the "best offer" included. Now that submitting your own for grading is a bit more reasonable is that what most are doing these days or is there someplace new for graded cards that you go?
    Thanks

I buy from COMC, but about 10-15% of what you get isn't as good as you thought. But I buy mostly low dollar items, so it isn't a huge deal.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

Facebook groups from sellers with vouches, haven't been burned yet....knock on wood

I'm sure this will get scrutinized by some, but searching the ebay sellers username in Instagram and Facebook has often led to deals being worked out outside of ebay fees and taxes...

BBCE and 4 Sharp Corners. Once in a while I get a card from a dealer who specializes in rare/unusual Killebrew items.

Rarely at card shows, prices are just too high.

Did 4SC get rid of their weekly sale on their website? Seems like they did.. used to be able to find the card on eBay and then go to their site to buy it for less.

I just visited BBCE after your post and definitely more interesting things and prices than what I remembered. I used to find their prices to be a lot higher than what I could find other places but they seem more in line these days.

I like to rip an occasional box of junk wax. Their prices are often better than ebay BINs.

yes which is an odd choice in buyer skewing market. Perceived value usually translates into sales - now there is none with them.

Thanks for the confirmation. Yeah, seemed like a good plan they had, advertise on eBay and then sell on their website. Wonder if eBay had any involvement in that?

I went there last year. They weren't real organized the day I went. I think they had a lot of stuff but the "owner" said he had a lot of it upstairs.

It can be a little chaotic! I like hearing the latest and greatest hobby news. They also have spots to sit and rip, which I like!

They have an upcoming swap meet set in October the week of the Chantilly Show.
