Can you provide the dimensions of these coins and clearer photos of both sides?
The bottom three coins look like old Chinese coins, but can also be souvenirs for tourists.
I can't see the top coin with a round hole due to poor photo quality.

I spent some time looking at these and I have a hard time identifying them. I do not know Chinese characters by sight, but I do have a remedial library, including my own collection. I have no clue about the silvery coin, due to the poor quality of the image. The bottom left is from the Qing dynasty, but without an image of the obverse, I cannot identify it. The middle coin is identifiable as far as the emperor. Dao Guang, 1821 - 1851. I could not find a match for the bottom right. A clearer image would have been helpful.

The dragon and phoenix on the reverse suggests that it is a charm. What appears to be Manchurian script at the top, between the dragon and phoenix, suggests that this is from the Qing period.

  • I pray it is a good luck charm. So very interesting. My mind wanders to who’s pockets it came from and the miles that it has traveled. I am thinking it is bronze. I also see a slight crack. I am not sure if that is significant. It is not totally symmetrical. I believe it was not factory produced. Wow, I never thought that I would be so eager for a history lesson!

Can you get a better image of the silver colored coin? It might be from Thailand.

Large one is the Chinese charm with inscription 招財進寳 (zhao cai jin bao), that means Let the wealth grows and treasure comes in the house. Dragon and Phoenix playing with perl – the matrimonial symbol of Emperor and Empress.

So, this is a kind of good luck charm or marriage charm.
