Update
Card came back as a MISCUT. I have read other resubmitting and it getting a grade the next time around.
Would you send it back again or not?
Just received a low end card. Is it worth getting graded? It has ding corners and a crease thru 1/4 of the lower left hand corner. I am guessing a 2 or 3.

Yes. PSA 1's are bringing 4 figures.
Just in case I wasn't clear....yes!

So many counterfeits that it is essential to have them graded in any condition.
Added pictures but I am going to send this off. I just acquired a collection of a old high school friend. Some are worth grading others need graded because they are faked a lot. Thanks for your help.

Looks like a solid 2 based on the crease. So it's worth 1500 ish

Is that a line cut at the top, is that why the MC?

Post a picture of it when you get a chance. What was the number grade?
MIscut as in min size? Did you measure it?
Two different things. Miscut generally means that there is a part of another card on the main card. Usually a very small part because huge miscuts are unlikely to be submitted.
Yes, i know that is what miscut usually means, but a miscut card still gets graded... Either with a qualifier or a lower grade if no qualifier.
No number grade. They did not grade it and did not charge me for it. Just the return shipping. It measured 2.5" x 3.5".

There is the MC qualifier, which seems to be what others are describing.
There's also the N8:MISCUT can also mean cut in an odd shape, like a parallelogram, or other issues with the cut from the manufacturer that do no get holdered.
This is usually the case when a miscut card doesn't get holdered. The card is cut so that it will not fit into the slab.
I bet it will sell for $1,000+ as is
I think you can see the miscut along the bottom edge of the card, look at the space between the yellow border on the right side compared to the left. The cut of that bottom edge made the right part of that bottom border thinner than the left.

Here's why it's N8, I leveled the bottom border and drew a rectangle that a normal cut card should be.
Notice the lower left and upper right edges that stick out from rectangular making this a parallelogram.
Good call. I’d try subbing it again to see if it might get a numerical grade this time or if you don’t want to chance it just ask them to slab it Authentic. If your end goal is to sell it no matter what you should still get decent money if you can prove it’s authentic.

@LarkinCollector thanks for the explanation. I might try submitting one more time.

Yeah, just get it in a slab even if just Authentic. There are so many fakes out there that even if you keep it you’ll know you have a real one.
