There was a member of this forum who hit a 1999 Charizard 1st Edition PSA 10 who was angry about PSA charging him $1,000 las year for the grading fee because the card was worth $20,000. I wonder what color his Ferrari is.

I am not a pokemon collector, but just like sport cards, the jump in prices for 2020 has been unreal.
One thing is certain; prices will never go back to pre pandemic levels. Full-time virtual work/work at home is now a reality for a significant part of the work force. Instead of commuting to work, these folks are online and buying what they collected at a kid. For places like DC and LA, this is up to 2-3 hours of time you get to control. There are other factors at play here.
