thats the mantle, right?
Nice. My daughter is starting to get serious about Pokemon. She has been infatuated with Hidden Fates recently and begged me to include one of her cards in my recent PSA submission. This looks like it is from the XY Evolution set?
It's in a desk right now. PSA 10 sold for $7000.
Off to grading next week.
was this a 2019-20 card? if so, wow.
2016 packs
I was saving to buy a PSA 5 1999 1st Edition knew they where going to explode in value some time just missed out they did before I could get mine. I would never pay the current prices.
My wife said grade it and sell it... I just think what it could be in 10 years.
Get it graded and set it aside. I was going to do the same with the 1st edition till I decided I am not paying 10k for a PSA 5. I could have got one in the summer for about 2k.
To be honest I do not know if this will sustain itself they are not rare it jut seems so many people jumped into it due to the world crisis we are living in and preferred owning a collectible. If I had the PSA 5 I would most likely sell it right now at 10k but I could be wrong maybe this will continue.
The 1993 MTG Alpha Black Lotus is truly a rare card in any grade to me that is a better card but who knows. I feel at the current prices the 1999 1st edition Charizard is a fools market.
I know but how many left versus Charizard?
I said it was 2016 charizard.
2016 PSA 10 charizard sold for $7500.
Interesting that there is a thread on this right now. I was going through some older boxes and found a 1999 Gamefreaks Charizard. Saw on ebay that the graded ones, even PSA 7's were going for over 2k.
THEN, I started looking at the sellers....ALL with 0-2 feedback. ALL of the buyers, 0-2 feedback. Auctions with 40+ bids, all with bidders with single digit and even some negative feedback. Saw where most of the highest 100 priced of these cards were all the same.....bought, sold, bid on by low or no feedback buyers. Searched internet and found an article that suggested making multiple ebay accounts to inflate prices of completed listings.
Havent really looked at the ones mentioned on this thread, but some of the sales look suspect as well, but not to the extent of the 1999 version. Would really be curious as to the actual value of some of these cards without having to sort through the completed listings that are littered with price manipulation
Seriously for a long time you could buy one at around the same price range within a few months they cost you 5 times more all of this makes zero sens. I have been a collector since the late 1980's I have never seen such a run up on anything.
What is the error on this card?
From a Walgreens pack today.
gotta tell us what we are looking at here. particularly what makes it special, please...
Top left card in the sleeve.
Middle card top.
Is your mewtwo different from this one that sells for $3.95? That's a serious question because I do not know anything about pokemon cards.

His are played cards. Mine is fresh from a pack. Just like coins, condition is everything.
Here is a PSA 10 that only sold for $92.

Only $92?? Lol More than the $5.99 the pack cost.
I said only because you showed raw ones for $400, so I was curious why a PSA 10 would go for "only" $92. You said condition was everything and I would think that the tippy top of condition would be a PSA 10.
Maybe there weren't competitive bidders? Same reason why I was able to get 3 lincoln danscos with toned coins for under $75 shipped. No one wanted to compete.
