How do you tell the difference between the two?

    Thanks,

The member’s only is embossed on it. Sometimes tough to see if you don’t look for it.

    Made me wonder too....

  • Yep there is a slight "stamp" in the upper right hand corner for the members only.

I actually started a poll in a Jordan group on FB asking which one guys prefer. I was expecting members only because it sells for more than the normal variation. However, a lot of guys actually prefer the normal because it had to be pack pulled. With the members, you could send away for the box set and it had every beam team card inside. Now if you compare this to Topps Tiffany for instance with baseball, the 84-91 sets had a print run of only 5-10K per year. The members only box sets had a print run of only 12K.

So even though the members only was technically easier to get in one sense, it actually has a scarcity factor because the print run on those sets were still relatively low. I mean 12K isn't a ton when you figure how many thousands of collectors wanted box sets.

This literally made me LMAO. I think with Probstein it is hit or miss on back scans. Some do and some don't.

I consigned a 76 PSA9 Nolan Ryan with him a few months ago and it wasn't listed with a back scan. I tried to get them to put one up and it was "I'll try". Never happened. So big surprise it only sold for $420. Then another 76/9 Ryan listed with Probstein shortly after which had a back scan. That one went for nearly $600. Despite the fact that the centering on mine was 10x better.

as many have said, the customer service with Probstein is awful, if you even get any
