1986 Fleer MIchael Jordan PSA 10 breaks 150k

The card market just like the stock market needs big time leaders in its advance.

I think it is great sign that the Jordan has been continuing to run.

There might be some stuff dropping but there is still plenty of marque stuff rising daily in the hobby.

Those calling a top on this card were doing so 100k ago and it just proves how difficult it is to predict prices. There has been a tidal wave of interest in the hobby and this is what happens to the best cards when there are so many chasing them with money to try and put to work.

No one saw PSA going from 68,000 cards in a week to 250,000 cards. Their run rate my slow but this kind of activity change is just massive and why you are seeing cards like this just keep rising.

Good luck calling the top. This bull is still running.

Sure seems that way Dpeck. I wonder where the 9 goes too.

It is very interesting to see the PSA 9 in the low 20's.

I owned a PSA 9 for a few months in 2010 and sold it to use towards more wrestling cards. It is up for $1,250 since then.

    Nice run!

The owner of the card, @thepryancollection, is a great follow. His latest IG video talked about the flip on this in just a matter of months.

Thanks for posting his IG. Watched a good amount of it. Congrats to him.

Looks like the fractional ownership trend was indeed a game changer.

That was so easy to see and still can’t figure out how anyone thought otherwise.

Jordan 10 over 200k in the Goldin Auction.

Your average hobbyist isn't mortgaging the house to buy a MJ PSA 10.

We are still in the early innings as wall street and foreign investors acquire rare and ultra high end sports collectibles.
It's bragging rights to own a piece of Warren Buffett. $340,000/share, 1.29m float and 649k shares outstanding.
    MJ PSA 10 float: 317
    BRK-A doesn't pay a dividend neither

Gretzky OPC PSA 10 hit over 1 million last week. The Jordan PSA 10 will be a 400,000 card a lot sooner than later. Big money in the hobby now who view this (as Dpeck mentioned) as stock. Certainly a blue chip. Seems everyone who can buy one does and continues to flip for quick returns. I cant believe this card was selling for about 30K (and under) about a year and a half ago. Certainly undervalued for sure at that time.

I believe you meant two years. The 19K was sold in Nov of 2018. Last November (2019), they were selling around 35K and by 40K in December.

Yes my mistake.. still 35k to 200k in 12 months is nuts. What’s the next big jump? Makes you wonder.

I remember a thread a few years ago saying it would hit 100k someday.. didn’t think so soon lol wish I kept one.

So where do folks see the 9 going over next 1-2 years? Pop is a lot higher but the 10 prices will have to drive up the 9, no? 20k today.

    30k by end of 2021?
