Hello. Newbie here but have collected coins for over 35 years. I have this coin I'm helping a friend with . All I know that it may be Afghanistan late 1800's . My name is Sal by the way.

What country is this from ?
Barakzai dynasty, Afghanistan. 1297 AH = 1879-1880 AD.
Denomination can be 1 or half Rupee, depending on weight.
