Are either of them serial numbered?
i don't know the value of either, but based off aesthetics i went w the top choice. not of a fan of any of the waves and sticker autos are for the birds, imo.
eta: plus bgs 9.5 slabs keep losing traction each day to their psa 10 counterparts.
Add me to the group that hates sticker autos, top one for me
I'm going from memory here so I could be wrong, but I think the purple is numbered to 75
and the blue wave to 149.
For me, my pick would be based on my intent.
Attractiveness = Purple crystal
Future resale = Blue wave Auto (after I got it into a PSA holder)
It's funny those sticker auto's still sell for 10 plus K......
For the record, I am not close to knowledgeable about ultra-modern nor the variations including autos. But what is the advantage to the card company of using auto stickers instead of simply signing the card? Is it simply logistics or a matter of mass production? Probably an ignorant question but I have noticed quite a few collectors on these boards share their disdain for the stickers. Thanks in advance for the insight.
Easier for the company to have the player sign sheets of stickers than individual cards. Plus then they can use the stickers on various sets or subsets.

Thanks for the info. That makes sense although I also now prefer the auto on the actual card upon reading the comments of other board members.
not to me though. and that's all that matters (to me). 😉
