The 1938 Jefferson nickel "re-engraved " variety?
I bought this to further my investigation on the fuzzy theory on the re-engraved 1938 Jefferson. To maybe find out if I do have one? I do realize it is a Denver. Maybe, this could be the so called variety? Being that proof coin? The steps might appear to have the sign as well? More studying needed. As well as, better close ups.

The top of the S in TRUST has been re-engraved. There is not much premium and the business strikes have been reengraved various places commonly in 1938 and 1939.
Thanks. Still, I think all these "re-engraved " denominations are awesome! I mean to think, hand engraved? What? How pain staking this must be? Pretty cool. A few denominations have it. Jeffersons, Washington quarters and the Walkers. Is there more?
