Super Machine Doubling
Hi guy's, I picked this 1964 Washington Quarter up yesterday, to ask the question. Has anyone ever seen a coin with such a dramatic "Machine Doubling?"
I mean, everywhere. Even on the poor eagle. Lol. Check out the MM. All of the MD seems only to be on the reverse? On the obverse, letters seem to be flattened. Although, on the obverse, the C in America, also seems to be flattened. What do you make of this? Is there another name for this sort of strike? Thanks
Here are the the flattened letters and numbers
From a short distance, the coin looks beautiful. Well at least far better than up close. Lol

Cha Ching!!! List it on ebay for $1,000,000 !
Based on the questions and answers I have seen on this and other coin forums, I expect that machine doubling is pervasive.
I remember you said you are looking through 64D quarters for Type C reverses. Any luck spotting one in the wild?
No luck, as of yet? Thanks. About the "C" Reverse? So, besides the separation of the E and S in states. what else needs to be on the reverse? The arrows need to have sharp points and above the leaf. What else? Thanks

These are the most frequent images I see depicting pick up points.
Wow, awesome, dude. Thanks
