    Be aware that there is more than 1 available and the seller has a reputation of shipping a POS compared to the example photographed. There's no telling how many they had to start with and you can rest assured the most attractive in the group is the one pictured.

    No, it should not get worse once it's in a holder.

    It's tough to sell coins with saltwater damage unless they are extremely rare. Best to stay away if possible.

    Most silver coins that you will see that have been salvaged from shipwrecks have been extensively treated to make them presentable -- they will not get worse over time unless you store it underwater.

    Depending on your budget, you may not be able to afford one of the key date Mexico 8 reales unless it was salvaged (including the one pictured above).
