Last year I bought 25 mostly from great collection auctions! Dealers want retail for everything! I only buy from them if there is something I can't find at the auctions and then I try to dicker. You can find some decent coins and prices here from time to time but you have to be quick! You need to know what your doing first and from your post it sounds like you don't! There is a million circling sharks out in the coin world so you have to beware! There are also some great folks out there also!

Once everything is re-opened, the best way to buy generic common date Saint Gaudens is to go to a coin show and you have a good chance at buying at the greysheet mid-point or offer price.
