Submitting to PCGS through a Dealer...

If you submit coins to PCGS through a dealer...
- Generally how much are you charged per coin?
- Is it fixed fee for items less than $2000...or sliding scale?
- Do you pay an additional "shipping" fee or is shipping a) bundled in the cost or b) you piggyback on the dealers submission?
- Last, do you fill out any paperwork?
Am considering joining collectors club but I only have 3-4 coins to submit.
Thanks much!

If you decide to join, join PCGS on the Gold Membership for $149 and it will give you 4 FREE Vouchers to get the coins graded.
It depends on the dealer and your relationship to him/her, would be my answer to your questions. PCGS also has a membership tier with no vouchers that might be cost-effective for only a few coins, especially if you were using economy tier service. OTOH, if you are lucky enough to have a local dealer who will let you piggyback for free, you won't beat that on cost.
I charge customers my dealer rate as a simple pass through. No upcharge.
The fee schedule is based on coin worth. 300 and less for economy. 3000 and less for regular.
I split shipping by as many ways as there are customers plus me in the submission.
Send me a PM if you need more details. Happy to help.

A local dealer that I work with passes through the cost without upcharge, but shipping is always the greatest expense. My coins frequently go out alone, not piggy-backed in a bigger box. Dealers with greater submission volume may do better. If i send one coin the shipping cost is much more than grading / reholder fee.
My Gold Type Set
Pretty sure they have dropped the regular tier to a max of $2500 now.
Thanks John, I sent a quick PM.
