Within the last few years, at the Heritage booth at Long Beach, I got to hold and inspect a branch mint proof (PCGS PR63) Capped Bust half that subsequently auctioned for over $300k. I may have held something more valuable in prior years (probably at lot viewing), but don't recall at this point.
I held the Eliasberg 1913 nickel a couple of years ago. It sold for $4.5 million. About a dozen years ago at the Baltimore ANA, I held the 1861 MS67 Paquet $20, which may be worth more.
