What's the different between

mintage limit and product limit on the Mint's web site ?

    Mintage limit - How many of that coin will be made
    Product limit - How many of that set and/or packaging would be made

    As I understand,

    X=10,000

    X included in a special set = 2,500

    X individual sales 7,500

    The Mayflower sets are a good example. Product limit is below mintage limit presumably due to the Royal Mint getting some of the coins/medals to make their own sets with.
