Not fair to compare star populations with commons, but you are certainly right that there are some toughies....don’t forget about Claude Raymond 🙂

Also interesting how the lowest pop PSA 8s in the set often have quite a few 9s....

There maybe some beautiful raw of commons out there. Owner doesn’t think or doesn’t know if there’s interest.

The number of cards graded of some of those "scrubs" really tells you how popular the graded market really is. Not my scene, but I would guess a lot of the "low value" commons are either tucked away because they aren't valuable enough to try to sell (people have no clue that a mint card of some of these guys would be worth a used car!) or locked in sets.

I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.

Correct. I'm in negotiation with my brother in law for his pack pulled fresh back in 1970,71 1970 and 1971 commons and 3 Munson rookies. Cards have been stored right out of the pack for 50 years.

Forgive the share, but speaking of 71 Munsons, do I have a shot at a .5 bump? White lines/smudge is on the card unfortunately.

Nothing to forgive there bc it’s an absolute stunner! Depending on how the backside looks I’d absolutely send in to see if they’d bump it!

Any chance I could buy one from ya if your negotiations go through? Lol 😁

Thanks guys. I did try once for the bump with no luck. If it didn’t take a year to get the card back I might try again! :)
