Of course, the registry takes two grades off. Is it as simple as sending in an 8(OC) and saying you want a 6 and paying for reslab?

It might depend on how OC the card is. The card could grade a straight 7, or possibly even less than a 6. Check the PSA grading standards on the OC allowance at each grade. Maybe possible to reholder at the unqualified grade, or might have to resubmit. Not sure about that.
