PSA sample cases

I believe PSA handed out sample cases with cards to show people what their graded cards would look like. They don’t have a grade on them it just says “SAMPLE”. Are these rare? Does PSA value the older original ones?

Some collectors on this board collect these in players they like.

There was another Larkin on eBay recently, but the seller wanted as much or more than a PSA 10 of the card would go for, so I passed.
