Slovakia 1 koruna (1940–1945) — «Kr» mark

What «Kr» mark means? Kremnica mint or something else?

    According to all the information I have it is a mintmark for the Kremnica mint.

    it stands for extra krunchy so don't do the underdog routine or you will need a dentist :(

    I tried to find a mention of this mark in various sources, but these attempts were unsuccessful. Well, let it be Kremnica Mint.

    So, I managed to find confirmation that this is exactly the mark of the Kremnica mint.
    The "Kr" mark was approved on 10.24.1940.

    Kind of surprised that Slovakia was still minting coins in nickel in 1942 and hadn't switched over to zinc like so many Axis controlled countries did.
