When PCGS Verify Shows a Slab Shot Instead of a TrueView

Am looking through some dealer websites and looking up select coins on the PCGS Cert Verification page.
Some show a TrueView photo, others don't. But a few show a photo of the full slab.
This appears to be the only photo of the coin. When I look on the Trueview site for more images, nothing comes up. (Searching at http://images.pcgs.com/trueview/XXXXXXXX , with the last part of the address being the cert number.)
Are TrueViews available for these coins, or is only a slab shot available? And what's the situation with some coins having slab shots?

It might have been done in one of the overseas offices where they don't have a full-service photography department.

This is likely the correct answer.

It would be nice if someone at PCGS would respond to threads like this once in a while.

It was done either in Asia or Europe if you see that.

This is an old topic and Phil did respond on this previously.
I’ve only seen these with foreign coins. I have had that with a Philippine-US and French coin. I have also read that people can specifically request it when submitting coins. Perhaps it is easier for them to have that for insurance purposes or something?
@Zoins,
Note the emoji in the MFeld post.
The ";)" emoticon, or winking face, typically suggests a joke.
In this case, MFeld was 'complaining' about the lack of a PCGS response, when in reality, a PCGS staffer replied within minutes.

Ah, I did miss the winking emoji. Too early in the morning!
It's good to see Brett posting
At the Gold Shield level, I think it would be great for PCGS to have TrueViews and slab shots, like the major auction houses do.
Staffer... President... take your pick.

@messydesk,
I am not familiar with the PCGS organizational chart. As such, I was unaware that BrettPCGS was the president. 😳
Thanks for the info.
