WTB Ruth and Gehrig - Goudey Preferred

I'm looking to complete my mission of getting one card of each of the all-time baseball greats....I've run into a bit of a roadblock getting a Ruth or Gehrig due to not wanting to drop what a new car would cost.

I have $2500-$3000 to spend each for a low grade Ruth or Gehrig. The only thing that people seem to put on EBAY are PSA 2's and 3's with buy-it-now prices that are 2-3X what the highest has ever sold for.

I'd be ecstatic if anyone out there has anything to offer. Obviously pictures would be helpful.
