Question about this cracked case

stwainfanstwainfan Posts: 1,514 ✭✭✭✭✭

Should I crack it out or send it for a new holder?

    Send in for a reholder.

Crack it out and check for new damage. If it has damage it will drop than 5 even lower.

cards that have a crack in the holder that extend over the card surface are regraded to make sure they will keep the same grade and dont have damage from it.

Money wise you should just leave it as is.

If you place a personal value on the card, get it reholdered and you will be happier even if it might drop a grade. It probably won't change.

The guy was one of the all time greats, he deserves to be in a nice holder imo.

    Have fun collecting!

    Thanks guys.
I have never had a cracked case before.
I think I reholder it. I don't think the card is damaged. Yes he is a Hall Of Famer. It would look better in a nice holder.
